Mss. add ag before this Sū. which is the result of the con fusion with Su. 56 of this Pada ( vide comm. of Sü. 56-यथा लभइ etc. ) Thus the entire text starting from वृक्षादौ of XII. 8, comm. has been written in a most confused and distorted condition in all the four Mss. The scribe who first copied the text is responsible for such confusion. B reads 'स्टे for स्से ; UGस ; IOस; em. according to Mss which seem to be correct here.
IO om. 59 BGIO 40% ; U = ; em. is mine ; cf, Su. 21. 60 U तस्मउ ; G स उ ; B स्टे तु the readings of Mss. will show that the affix is not -रटे but -स्म.
B कस्ट, जस्ट ; U कम्य, ज( १ )स्स ; IO कस्य, जस.
This Sū. which is supposed to be in the original text, is thus left blank by B; Mss. do not preserve this rule.
Bजत्तिं तत्ति which is not authorised by Mss. UG have the reading as suggested above with slight mistake in तउ which they read as मतलं, but this mistake is corrected in ex. IO preserve the reading of UG in corrupt from: I जम मतङ्म: 0 जङ तङ; ex. also same. जउ and तउ are used in colloquial Oriya. So the reading of Mss. seem to be correct.
U उसिउस्भ्यां यत उत उत च ; Gउसिउस्भ्यां जउ तउच; TO उसिडिम्यां यत च उत च. The Mss. seem to be corrupt with regard to this Su. Firstly if we retain the reading of any of them, there will be viola
