हरिवंशपुराणे वसन्तसेनां गणिका कामुकैः परिवेष्टिताम् । दृष्ट्वा वनविहारेऽसावेकदा क्रीडनोद्यताम् ॥१३४॥ निदानमकरोक्लिष्टा दुर्यशःप्राप्तिकारणम् । सौभाग्यमीदृशं मेऽन्यजन्मन्यस्त्विति सादरा ॥१३५॥ स्वमर्तुः सोमभूतेस्तु मृस्वाभूदारणाच्युते । देवी सा पञ्चपञ्चाशत्पल्यतुल्यनिजस्थितिः ॥१३६॥ च्युत्वा ते पाण्डुराजस्य सोमदत्तादयस्त्रयः । कुन्त्यां युधिष्ठिरो भीमः पार्थश्चेत्यभवन् सुताः ॥१३॥ धनश्रीपूर्वको देवी मित्रश्रीपूर्वकस्तथा । नकुलः सहदेवश्च मद्या जाती शरीरजी ॥१३८॥ सा कुमारी दिवश्च्युत्वा दुपदस्य शरीरजा । जाता दृढरथाख्यायां स्त्रियां द्रौपद्यमिख्यया ॥१३९॥ द्रौपद्यर्जनयोर्योगः पूर्वस्नेहेन साम्प्रतम् । सुव्यक्तं साम्प्रतं जातो राधोवेधपुरस्सरः ॥१४॥ ज्येष्टानां भविता सिद्धि स्त्रयाणामिह जन्मनि । सर्वार्थसिद्धिर्हि तयोरन्त्यपाण्डवयोरिह ॥१४१॥ सम्यग्दर्शनशुद्धाया द्रौपद्यास्तपसः फलात् । आरणाच्युतदेवत्वपूर्विका सिद्धिरिष्यते ॥१४२॥ इत्थं ते पाण्डवाः श्रुत्वा धर्म पूर्वभवांस्तथा । संवेगिनो जिनस्यान्ते संयमं प्रतिपेदिरे ॥१४३॥ कुन्ती च द्रौपदी देवी सुभद्राद्याश्च योषितः । राजीमत्याः समीपे ताः समस्तास्तपसि स्थिताः ॥१४४॥ ज्ञानदर्शनचारित्रवतैः समितिगुप्तिमिः । आत्मानं भावयन्तस्ते पाण्डवाद्यास्तपोऽचरन् ॥१४५॥
शार्दूलविक्रीडितम् 'कुन्ताग्रेण वितीर्णभैक्ष्यनियमः क्षुरक्षामगात्रः क्षमः
षण्मासैरथ भीमसेनमुनिपो निष्ठाप्य स्वान्तक्लमम् ।
__एक दिन उसी गांवकी गणिका वसन्तसेना कामीजनोंसे वेष्टित हो वन-विहारके लिए आयी। क्रीडा करने में उद्यत उस गणिकाको देखकर आर्यिका सकमारिकाने क्लिष्ट परिणामोंसे यक्त बड़े आदरसे अपयशकी प्राप्तिमें कारणभूत यह निदान किया कि अन्य जन्ममें मुझे भी ऐसा सौभाग्य प्राप्त हो ॥१३४-१३५।। आयुके अन्तमें मरकर वह आरणाच्युत युगलमें अपने पूर्व भवके पति सोमभूति देवकी पचपन पल्यकी आयुवाली देवी हुई ॥१३६॥ सोमदत्त आदि तीनों भाइयोंके जीव स्वर्गसे च्युत हो पाण्डु राजाकी कुन्ती नामक स्त्रीमें युधिष्ठिर, भीम और अर्जुन नामक पुत्र हुए ॥१३७|| और धनश्री तथा मित्रश्रीके जीव देव भी उन्हीं पाण्डु राजाकी माद्री नामक दूसरी स्त्रीसे नकुल और सहदेव नामक पुत्र हुए ॥१३८|| सुकुमारिकाका जीव भी स्वर्गसे च्युत हो राजा द्रुपदकी दृढ रथा नामक स्त्रीसे द्रौपदी नामकी पुत्री हुई ॥१३९|| पूर्व भवके स्नेहके कारण इस भवमें भी राधोवेध पूर्वक द्रौपदी और अर्जुनका संयोग हुआ है ।।१४०॥ तीन ज्येष्ठ पाण्डव-युधिष्ठिर, भीम और अर्जन इसी जन्ममें मोक्षको प्राप्त होंगे और अन्तिम दो पाण्डव-नक सहदेवको सर्वार्थसिद्धि प्राप्त होगी ।।१४१।। सम्यग्दर्शनसे शुद्ध द्रौपदी तपके फलस्वरूप आरणाच्युत युगलमें देव होगी और उसके बाद मनुष्यपर्याय रख मोक्ष जायेगी ।।१४२॥
इस प्रकार वे पाण्डव धर्म तथा पूर्व भव श्रवण कर संसारसे विरक्त हो श्री नेमि जिनेन्द्र के समीप संयमको प्राप्त हो गये ॥१४३।। कुन्ती, द्रौपदी तथा सुमद्रा आदि जो स्त्रियाँ थीं वे सब राजीमती आर्यिकाके समीप तपमें लोन हो गयीं ॥१४४|| सम्यग्दर्शन, सम्यग्ज्ञान, सम्यक्चारित्र, महाव्रत, समिति तथा गुप्तियोंसे अपनी आत्माके स्वरूपका चिन्तवन करते हुए वे पाण्डव आदि तप करने लगे ।। १४५ ॥ उन सब मुनियोंमें भीमसेन मुनि बहुत ही शक्तिशाली
