हरिवंशपुराणे
अष्टानां सिद्धिरुद्दिष्टा ब्रह्मदत्तसुभूमयोः । सप्तमी मघवांस्तुर्यो तृतीयं कल्पमाश्रितौ ॥ २९८ ॥ श्रेयः प्रभृतिधर्मान्तान् पञ्चापश्यन् बलोर्जितान् । त्रिष्पृष्ठाद्या नृसिंहान्ताः पञ्चसंख्यास्तु केशवाः ॥ २९९॥ पुण्डरीकोडरमल्ल्यन्तर्वासुदेवः प्रकीर्तितः । मुनिसुचतमल्ल्यन्तर्दत्तनामा तु केशवः ॥ ३००॥ मुनिसुव्रतनयोस्तु मध्ये नारायणः स्मृतः । प्रत्यक्षं वन्दको नेमेः कृष्णः पद्मसमन्वितः ॥ ३०१॥ " एकस्य सप्तमी पृथ्वी पञ्चानां षध्युदीरिता । पञ्चम्येकस्य चान्यस्य पर्यन्तस्य तृतीयभूः ॥ ३०२ ॥

" अष्टानां मुक्तिरुदिष्टा बलानां तु तपोबलात् । अन्तस्य ब्रह्मकल्पस्तु तीर्थे कृष्णस्य सेत्स्यतः ॥३०३॥ 'धनुःशतानि पञ्चाथे हानिः पञ्चाशतोऽष्टसु । दशानां पञ्चसु प्रोक्ता पञ्चानामष्टसु क्षयः ॥ ३०४ ॥ उत्सेधः पार्श्वनाथस्य नवारनिमितस्ततः । वीरस्यारत्नयः सप्त जिनोस्सेधः क्रमादयम् ॥ ३०५ ॥

और नमिनाथ के अन्तराल में हुआ । जयसेन चक्रवर्ती नमिनाथ पार्श्वनाथ के अन्तर में हुआ और ब्रह्मदत्त चक्रवर्ती, नेमिनाथ तथा पार्श्वनाथ जिनेन्द्र के अन्तरालमें हुआ है ।। २९४ - २९६ ।। इन बारह चक्रवर्तियों में आठको मुक्ति प्राप्त हुई है, ब्रह्मदत्त और सुभूम सातवीं पृथिवी गये हैं तथा मघवा और सनत्कुमार तीसरे स्वर्गको प्राप्त हुए हैं ||२९७||
त्रिपृष्ठसे लेकर पुरुषसिंह तकके पाँच नारायणोंने श्रेयांसनाथसे लेकर धर्मनाथ तकके पाँच तीर्थंकरों के अन्तराल कालको बलभद्रोंके साथ देखा है अर्थात् त्रिपृष्ठादि पाँच नारायण और विजय आदि पांच बलभद्र श्रेयांसनाथसे लेकर धर्मनाथ तकके अन्तराल में हुए हैं। पुण्डरीक, अरनाथ और मल्लिनाथके अन्तराल में, दत्त, मल्लिनाथ और मुनिसुव्रतनाथके अन्तराल में, नारायण (लक्ष्मण), मुनि सुव्रतनाथ और नमिनाथके अन्तरालमे हुआ है और कृष्ण पद्मके साथ नेमिनाथको वन्दना करनेवाला प्रत्यक्ष विद्यमान है ही ||२९८-३०१ ।। इन नारायणोंमें प्रथम नारायण त्रिपृष्ठ सातवीं पृथिवी गया । दूसरेसे लेकर छठे तक पाँच नारायण छठो पृथिवी गये । सातवाँ पाँचवीं पृथिवी गया और आठवाँ तीसरी पृथिवी गया और नौवां भी तीसरी पृथिवी जायेगा ||३०२ ||
प्रारम्भके आठ बलभद्रोंने तपके माहात्म्यसे मुक्ति प्राप्त की है और अन्तिम बलभद्र पाँचवें ब्रह्म स्वर्गं जायेगा। यह वहाँसे आकर जब कृष्ण तीर्थंकर होगा तब उसके तीर्थ में सिद्ध होगा - मोक्ष प्राप्त करेगा || ३०३ ||
वृषभ जिनेन्द्रके शरीरकी ऊँचाई पाँच सौ धनुष थी, फिर आठ तीर्थंकरोंकी ऊँचाई पचासपचास धनुष कम होती गयी। उसके बाद तीर्थंकरोंकी दस-दस धनुष कम हुई । तदनन्तर आठ तीर्थंकरोंकी पांच-पांच धनुष कम हुई || ३०४ ||
पार्श्वनाथकी नो हाथ और महावीरकी सात हाथ ऊँचाई होगी। इस प्रकार क्रमसे तीर्थंकरोंकी ऊँचाई जानना चाहिए ||३०५ ।।
२. सप्तमी म. । २. पढमहरी सत्तम्मिए पंचच्छट्टाम्मि पंचमी एक्को । एक्को तुरिये चरिमो तदिए णिरए तहेव पडिसत्तु ।।१४३८ ।। त्री. प्र., अ. ४, त्रलोक्यप्रज्ञप्तौ त्रिलोकसारे च लक्ष्मणस्य चतुर्थपृथिवीगमनं प्रख्यातम् । हरिवंशे पद्मचरिते च तृतीयपृथिवीगमनं प्रख्यातम् । ३. णिस्सेयस मट्ठ गया हरिणो चरिमो बम्ह कत्यगदो । तत्तो कालेण मदो सिज्झदि, केहस्स तित्थम्मि । १४३७ ॥ . प्र च अ पंचसयधणुपमाणो उसह जिगिदस्स होदि उच्छेहो । तत्तोपण्णासूणा पियमेण य पुष्पदंतपेरते ।। ५८५ । । एत्तो जाव अनंतं दस दस कोदंडमेत्तपरिहीण । तत्तो णेमि जिणंतं पणपणचावेहिं परिहीणो ||५८६ ॥ णव हत्था पासजिणे सग हत्था वड्ढमाण णामम्मि । एत्तो तित्थयराणं सरीरवण्णं परूवेमो ॥। ५८७ ।। त्रै. प्र. अ. ४ ।

The height of Parshvanath was 9 hands, and the height of Mahavira was 7 hands. In this way, one should know the height of the Tirthankaras. ||305||
