एकपश्चाशत्तमः सर्गः
अन्नान्तरे सह प्राप्ताः समुद्रविजयं नृपाः । विद्याधरसमस्तास्ते वसुदेवहितैषिणः ॥१॥ श्वसुरोऽशनिवेगोऽसौ हरिग्रीवो वराहकः । सिंहदंष्ट्रः खगेन्द्र श्च विधुद्वेगो महोद्यमः ॥२॥ तथा मानसवेगश्च विद्युदंष्ट्रः खगाधिपः । राजा पिङ्गलगान्धारो नारसिंहो नरेश्वरः ॥३॥ 'इत्याद्या धार्यमातङ्गा वासुदेवार्थसिद्धये। वसुदेवं पुरस्कृत्य समुद्र विजयं श्रिताः ॥४॥ तान् संमान्य यथायोग्यं समुद्र विजयादयः । सिद्धार्था वयमद्येति प्रहृष्टमनसो जगुः ॥५॥ वसुदेवरिपूणां ते खगाना क्षोभमूचिरे । जरासन्धार्थसिद्धयर्थ तेषामागमनं तथा ॥६॥ तच्छु त्वा यादवाः सर्वे संमन्व्यानकदुन्दुभिम् । प्रद्युम्नशम्बसंयुक्तं सपुत्रं तैरमामुचन् ॥७॥ जिनकेशवरामादीन् परिष्वज्य स वेगवान् । पुत्रनप्तृखगैः साकं खचराचलमाययौ ॥८॥ सिंहविद्यारथं दिव्यं दिव्यास्त्रपरिपूरितम् । धनदेवसमानीतमारुरोह हलायुधः ॥९॥ गारुडं रथमारूढस्तथा गरुडकेतनः । नानाप्रहरणैर्दिव्यैः परिपूर्ण जयावहम् ॥१०॥ मातल्यधिष्टितं सास्त्रं सुत्रामप्रहितं रथम् । नेमीश्वरः समारूढो यदूनामर्थसिद्धये ॥११॥ सेनानां नायकं शूरमनावृष्टिं कपिध्वजम् । अभ्यषिञ्चन्नृपाः सर्वे समुद्र विजयादयः ॥१२॥ राजा हिरण्यनाभस्तु मामधेन महाबलः । सेनापतिपदे शीघ्रमभिषिक्तस्तदा मुदा ॥१३॥ युद्धे भेयस्तथा शङ्खा नेदु/रं बलद्वये । चतुरङ्गं बलं योद्धमाससाद परस्परम् ॥१४॥
अथानन्तर इसी बीचमें वसुदेवका हित चाहनेवाले नीचे लिखे समस्त विद्याधर एक साथ मिलकर समुद्रविजयके पास आ पहुँचे ।।१।। वसुदेवका श्वसुर अशनिवेग, हरिग्रीव, वराहक, सिंहदंष्ट्र, महापुरुषार्थी विद्युद्वेग, मानसवेग, विद्युदंष्ट्र, पिंगलगान्धार और नारसिंह इन्हें आदि लेकर आर्य और मातंगजातिके अनेक विद्याधर राजा श्रीकृष्णको भलाईके लिए आ पहुंचे और वसदेवको आगे कर राजा समुद्रविजयसे जा मिले ॥२-४।। समुद्रविजय आदि उनका यथार सम्मान कर हर्षितचित्त होते हुए कहने लगे कि अब हम लोग कृतार्थ हो गये ॥५॥ उन आगत विद्याधरोंने कहा कि इस युद्धसे वसुदेवके विरोधी विद्याधरोंमें बड़ा क्षोभ हो रहा है और वे जरासन्धकी कार्यसिद्धिके लिए आनेवाले हैं ।।६।। यह सुनकर सब यादवोंने परस्पर सलाह की और विद्याधरोंको शान्त करनेके लिए उन्होंने उन्हीं विद्याधरोंके साथ प्रद्युम्न, शम्ब एवं अनेक पुत्रों-सहित वसुदेवको विजयाधंके लिए छोड़ा ॥७॥ वसुदेव भी भगवान् नेमिनाथ, कृष्ण, बलदेव आदिका आलिंगन कर कुछ पुत्रों, पोतों और विद्याधरोंके साथ शीघ्र ही विजयाधंकी ओर चल पड़े ।।८। उसी समय कुबेरके द्वारा समर्पित, दिव्य अत्रोंसे परिपूर्ण सिंहविद्याके दिव्य रथपर बलदेव आरूढ़ हुए ॥९॥ गरुडांकित पताकासे सुशोभित कृष्ण, नाना प्रकारके दिव्य अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंसे पूर्ण विजय प्राप्त करानेवाले गरुड़ विद्याके रथपर सवार हुए ॥१०॥ और भगवान् नेमिनाथ, इन्द्रके द्वारा प्रेषित, मातलि नामक सारथिसे युक्त, तथा अस्त्र-शस्त्रसे पूर्ण रथपर यादवोंकी कार्यसिद्धिके लिए आरूढ़ हुए ॥११॥ समुद्रविजय आदि समस्त राजाओंने वानरकी ध्वजासे युक्त, वसुदेवके शर-वीर पूत्र अनावृष्टिको सेनापति बनाकर उसका अभिषेक किया ॥१२॥
उधर राजा जरासन्धने भी हर्षपूर्वक महाबलवान् राजा हिरण्यनाभको शीघ्र ही सेनापतिके पदपर अभिषिक्त किया ।।१३।। दोनों ओरकी सेनाओंमें युद्ध के समय बजनेवाली भेरियाँ और शंख गम्भीर शब्द करने लगे तथा दोनों ओरकी चतुरंग सेना युद्ध करनेके लिए परस्पर एक-दूसरेके १. -चार्य म., घ.। २. वसुदेवः 'वसुदेवोऽस्य जनकः स एवानकदुन्दुभिः' इत्यमरः । ३. जयावहः म. ।
