पतिभिक्षां ययाचेऽसावर्जुनं कुसुमावली | मुक्तः स तं प्रणम्यागाद्रौप्यार्दक्षिणां क्षितिम् ॥१३॥ गता क्रमेण ते धीराः पुरं मेघदलाभिधम् । सिंहो नरेश्वरो यत्र कान्ता कनकमेखला ॥ १४ ॥ तनया कनकावर्ता तयोरत्यन्त सुन्दरी । मेघेभ्यो लकयोश्चारुलक्ष्मीः कान्ता शरीरजा ॥१५॥ ते चादेश वशात्कन्ये भीमो भीमांसवेषभृत् । मिक्षार्थमागतो लेभे पुण्यस्य किमु दुष्करम् ॥ १६ ॥ विश्रम्य तत्र ते सौम्या दिनानि कतिचित्सुखम् । याताः क्रमेण पुन्नागा विषयं कौशलाभिधम् ॥१७॥ स्थित्वा तत्रापि सौख्येन मासान् कतिपयानपि । प्राप्ता रामगिरिं प्राग् यो रामलक्ष्मणसेवितः ॥ १८ ॥ चैत्यालया जिनेन्द्राणां यत्र चन्द्रार्कमासुराः । कारिता रामदेवेन संभान्ति शतशो गिरौ ॥१९॥ नानादेशगतैव्यैर्वन्थन्ते या दिने दिने । वन्दितास्ता जिनेन्द्राणां प्रतिमाः पाण्डुनन्दनैः ॥ २०॥ चित्रं चिक्रीड तत्राद्वौ द्रौपद्या सहितोऽर्जुनः । लतागृहेषु रम्येषु सीतयेव रघूत्तमः ॥२१॥ अविज्ञात सुखच्छेदा स्वेच्छया विहृतिं श्रिताः । निन्युरेकादशाब्दानि धन्यास्ते मान्यचेष्टिताः ॥२२॥ अतः परं पुनः प्राप्ता विराटपुटभेदनम् । विराटो यत्र राजासौ मार्या यस्य सुदर्शना ॥२२॥ अव्यक्ताः पाण्डवास्तत्र द्रौपदी च विचक्षणा । विराटनगरे तस्थुर्विराटस्या तिपूजिताः ॥ २४॥ यथायथं विनोदेन तत्र संवसतां सताम् । प्रयाति सुखिनां काले प्रमादरहितात्मनाम् ॥ ३५॥

अर्जुन दृढ़ मुट्ठी बांधकर उस बलवान् विद्याधरकी छातीपर भुजासे मजबूत प्रहार किया । जिससे घबड़ाकर विद्याधरकी स्त्री कुसुमावली अर्जुनसे पतिकी भिक्षा मांगने लगी । फलस्वरूप अर्जुनने उसे छोड़ दिया और वह उन्हें प्रणाम कर विजयाधं पर्वतको दक्षिण श्रेणी में चला गया ॥ १२-१३॥ तदनन्तर वे धीर-वीर क्रम-क्रमसे मेघदल नामक उस नगर में पहुँचे जहाँ सिंह नामका राजा राज्य करता था। राजा सिंहकी स्त्रीका नाम कनकमेखला था और उन दोनोंके कनकावर्ता नामकी अत्यन्त सुन्दरी कन्या थी । उसी नगरी में मेघ नामक सेठ और अलका नामक सेठानीके चारुलक्ष्मी नामकी एक सुन्दर कन्या और थी ॥१४- १५ ॥ निमित्तज्ञानीके आदेशानुसार भिक्षाके लिए गये हुए भयंकर कन्धोंको धारण करनेवाले भीमसेनने उन दोनों कन्याओंको प्राप्त किया सो ठीक ही है क्योंकि पुण्यके लिए क्या कार्यं कठिन है ? || १६ || सौम्य प्रकृतिके धारक उन श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंने कुछ दिन तक वहां विश्राम किया । तदनन्तर क्रम-क्रमसे चलकर वे कौशल नामक देश में पहुँचे ॥१७॥ वहाँ भी कुछ महीने तक सुखसे ठहरकर वे उस रामगिरि पर्वतपर पहुंचे जो कि पहले राम और लक्ष्मणके द्वारा सेवित हुआ था || १८|| तथा जिस पर्वतपर रामचन्द्रजीके द्वारा बनवाये हुए चन्द्रमा और सूर्यके समान देदीप्यमान, सैकड़ों जिन मन्दिर सुशोभित हो रहे ये ||१९|| नाना देशोंसे आये हुए भव्य जीव प्रतिदिन जिन - प्रतिमाओं की वन्दना करते थे, पाण्डवोंने भी उन प्रतिमाओं को बड़ी भक्तिसे वन्दना की ||२०|| जिस प्रकार सीता के साथ रामचन्द्रजीने कीड़ा की थी उसी प्रकार उस पर्वत के सुन्दर-सुन्दर लतागृहोंमें अर्जुन द्रौपदीके साथ नाना प्रकारकी क्रीड़ा करता था || २१|| जिन्होंने कभी सुखके विच्छेदका अनुभव नहीं किया था, जो स्वेच्छा से जहाँ-तहाँ विहार करते थे और मान्य चेष्टाओंके धारक थे ऐसे उन भाग्यशाली पाण्डवोंने उस पर्वतपर ग्यारह वर्षं व्यतीत कर दिये ||२२||
तदनन्तर वहाँ से चलकर वे उस विराटनगर में पहुँचे जहां विराट नामका राजा रहता था। राजा विराटकी स्त्रीका नाम सुदर्शना था || २३ || पाण्डव और अत्यन्त कुशल द्रौपदी - सब अपने-आपको छिपाकर राजा विराटसे सम्मानित हो विराटनगर में रहने लगे ||२४|| इस प्रकार विनोदपूर्वक वहाँ रहते हुए प्रमादरहित पाण्डवोंका सुखसे समय बीतने लगा ||२५|| अब इनसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाली दूसरी घटना लिखी जाती है

On this mountain, built by Ramachandra, stood hundreds of Jina temples, shining like the moon and the sun. ||19||

Every day, people from various lands came to worship the Jina images. The Pandavas also paid their respects to these images with great devotion. ||20||

Just as Ramachandra had played with Sita, Arjuna, along with Draupadi, engaged in various games in the beautiful gardens of that mountain. ||21||

These fortunate Pandavas, who had never known the separation of happiness, roamed freely and engaged in virtuous deeds, spent eleven years on that mountain. ||22||

From there, they went to Viratnagar, where King Virat resided. King Virat's wife was named Sudarshana. ||23||

The Pandavas, along with the wise Draupadi, concealed their identities and lived in Viratnagar, honored by King Virat. ||24||

Thus, the Pandavas, free from distractions, spent their time happily in Viratnagar, enjoying themselves. ||25||
