हरिवंशपुराणे समस्तरसपुष्टिकं वलयहारिगात्रोस्करैर्मनःकुसुममञ्जरीरमरभूरुहामाहरत् । प्रवृत्यरुजतकीमयमनीकमप्यम्बरे नितम्बभरमन्थर निचितमाविरासीत्तथा ॥२८॥ सहस्रगुणितोदिता चतरक्षीतिरेषु स्फुटं प्रमाणमपि सप्तसु प्रथमसप्तकक्षास्वतः। परं द्विगुणमेतदेव सकलेषु कक्षान्तरेष्वनीकवलयेष्वियं क्रमभिदासमाप्तः स्थितिः ॥२९॥ यथायथमनीकिनः सकलनाकलोकाधिपा जिनेन्द्रजननाभिषेककरणाय यावद्वियत् । वितत्य पुरमानजन्ति मुदितास्तु तावदिशा कुमार्य उपकुर्वते निखिलजातकर्मादृताः ॥३०॥ तथाहि विजया स्मृता जगति वैजयन्ती परा परोक्तिरपराजिता प्रवदिता जयन्ती वरा । तथैव सह नन्दया मवति चापरानन्दया सनन्धभिधवर्धना हृदयनन्दिनन्दोत्तरा ॥३॥ कुचानिव निजानिमा विगलदङ्गशृङ्गारसद्रसेन भरितान् भृशं विपुलतुङ्गभृङ्गारकान् । समूहुरभिरामकानमलहारमारोज्ज्वला ज्वलन्मणिविभूषणश्रवणकुण्डलोद्भासिताः ॥३२॥ तथैव सयशोधरा प्रथितसुप्रबुद्धामरी सुकीर्तिरपि सुस्थिता प्रणिधिरत्र लक्ष्मीमती। विचित्रगुणचित्रया सह वसुंधरा चाप्यमू गृहीतमणिदर्पणा दिश इवेन्दुमत्यो वभुः ॥३३॥ इला नवमिकासुरासहितपीतपद्मावती तथैव पृथिवी परप्रवरकाञ्चना चन्द्रिका ।
प्रमास्फुटिततारकामरणभूषिता मास्वराः सचन्द्ररजनीनिमा तसितातपत्रा बभुः ॥३४॥ सेनाके बाद गन्धर्वोकी वह सेना सुशोभित हो रही थी जिसने मधुर मूर्छनासे कोमल वीणा, उत्कृष्ट बांसुरी और तालके शब्दसे मिश्रित सातों प्रकारके आश्रित स्वरोंसे जगत्के मध्यभागको पूर्ण कर दिया था, जो देव-देवांगनाओंसे सुशोभित थी एवं सबको आनन्द उत्पन्न करनेवाली थी ॥२७॥ गन्धर्वो की सेनाके बाद उत्कृष्ट नृत्य करनेवाली नर्तकियोंकी वह सेना भी आकाशमें प्रकट हुई थी जो कि.नितम्बोंके भारसे मन्द-मन्द चल रही थी, समस्त रसोंको पुष्ट करनेवाली थी और वलयोंसे सुशोभित अपने शरीरोंसे देवरूपी वृक्षोंके मनरूपी पुष्पमंजरीको ग्रहण कर रही थी ॥२८॥ प्रत्येक मेनामें सात-सात कक्षाएं थीं। उनमें से प्रथम कक्षामें चौरासी हजार घोड़े, बैल आदि थे फिर दूसरी-तीसरी आदि कक्षाओं में क्रमसे दूने-दूने होते गये थे ।।२९।।।
__ अपनी-अपनी सेनाओंसे युक्त समस्त इन्द्र, भगवान्का जन्माभिषेक करनेके लिए आकाशमें व्याप्त हो जब-तक सूर्यपुर आते हैं तब-तक प्रसन्नतासे युक्त एवं आदरसे भरी दिक्कुमारी देवियां भगवान्का समस्त जातकर्म करने लगीं ॥३०॥ देवियोंमें निर्मल हारोंके धारण करनेसे सुशोभित एवं चमकते हुए मणियोंके आभूषण और कानोंके कुण्डलोंसे विभूषित, जगत्-प्रसिद्ध विजया, वैजयन्ती, अपराजिता, जयन्ती, नन्दा, आनन्दा, नन्दिवर्धना और हृदयको आनन्दित करनेवाली नन्दोत्तरा नामकी देवियां अपने स्तनोंके समान स्थूल, तथा अंगसे विगलित होते हुए शृंगार रसके समान निर्मल जलसे भरी हुई बड़ी ऊँची झारियाँ लिये हुए थों ॥३१-३२।। यशोधरा, सुप्रसिद्धा, सुकीर्ति, सुस्थिता, प्रणिधि, लक्ष्मीमती, विचित्र गुणोंसे युक्त चित्रा और वसुन्धरा ये देवियां मणिमय दर्पण लेकर खड़ी थीं और चन्द्रमासे यक्त दिशाओंके समान सुशोभित हो रही थीं ॥३३||
इला, नवमिका, सुरा, पीता, पद्मावती, पृथ्वी, प्रवरकांचना और चन्द्रिका नामकी
भासे देदीप्यमान ताराओंके समान आभषणोंसे सुशोभित तथा देदीप्यमान थीं। ये देवियां भगवान्की मातापर सफेद छत्र लगाये हुए थीं और चन्द्रमाके सहित रात्रियोंके समान १. बलमहारि-म.। २. प्रनृत्यपुरुनर्तकी म.। ३. मप्यम्बर-म.। ४. करुणाय म.। ५. परा म. । ६. पीठपद्मावती म.।

Their bodies were as full and rounded as the breasts of a woman, their beauty enhanced by the delicate fragrance of their garlands, which dripped with the nectar of love. (31-32)

Yashodhara, the renowned, Suprabuddha, the enlightened, Sukirti, the virtuous, Susthita, the steadfast, Pranidhi, the devoted, Lakshmimati, the prosperous, Chitra, the adorned with diverse qualities, and Vasundhara, the earth goddess, stood tall, holding mirrors of polished gems, their radiance rivaling that of the moonlit sky. Ila, Navamika, Sura, Pita, Padmavati, Prithvi, Pravarakanchana, and Chandrika, adorned with sparkling stars, their bodies radiating light, stood by the side of the Jina's mother, holding a white canopy above her head, their presence as luminous as the moonlit night. (34)
