सा तं पोडशसुस्वप्नदर्शनोत्सव पूर्वकम् । दधे 'गर्भेश्वरं गर्भे श्रीवीरं प्रियकारिणी ॥२१॥ पञ्चसप्रतिवर्षाष्टमासमासार्धशेषकः । चतुर्थस्तु सदा कालो दुःषमः सुषमोत्तरः ॥ २२ ॥ आषाढशुक्लषष्ठ्यां तु गर्भावतरणेऽर्हतः । उत्तराफाल्गुनी नोडमुडुराजद्विजः श्रितः ॥२३॥ दिक्कुमारीकृताभिख्यां द्योतिमृर्ति घनस्तनीम् । प्रच्छन्नोऽभासयद्गर्भस्तां रविः प्रावृषं यथा ॥२४॥ नवमावतीतेषु स जिनोऽष्टदिनेषु च । उत्तराफाल्गुनीष्विन्दौ वर्तमानेऽजनि प्रभुः ॥ २५ ॥ ततोऽन्त्यजिनमाहात्म्याल्लुठत्पीठ किरीटकाः । प्रणेमुरवधिज्ञाततद्वृत्तान्ताः सुरेश्वराः ॥ २६ ॥ शङ्खभेरीहरिध्वानघण्टानिर्घोषघोषणम् । समाकर्ण्य सुरास्तृणं घूर्णितार्णवराविणः ॥२७॥ सतानीकमहाभेदाः सस्त्रीकाः कृतभूषणाः । सेन्द्र | इचतुर्णिकायास्ते प्रापुः कुण्डपुरं पुरम् ॥ २८ ॥ ( युग्मम् ) त्रिःपरीत्य पुरं देवाः पुरन्दरपुरस्सराः | जिनमिन्दुमुखं देवं 'तद्गुरू च ववन्दिरे ॥२९॥ मातुः शिशुं विकृत्यान्यं सुतायाः सुरमायया । इन्द्राणी प्रणता नीवा जिनेन्द्र हरये ददौ ॥ ३० ॥ गृहीत्वा करपद्माभ्यां तमभ्यर्च्य चिरं हरिः । चक्रे नेत्रसहस्रोरुपुण्डरीकवनार्चितम् ॥३१॥ ततश्चन्द्रावदाताङ्गमिन्द्रस्तुङ्गमतङ्गजम् । शृङ्गौवमिव हेमाद्रेर्मुक्ताधोमदनिर्क्षरम् ||३२||
रानी प्रियकारिणीने उत्तमोत्तम सोलह स्वप्न देखकर गर्भमें गर्भकल्याणकके स्वामी श्री महावीर भगवान्को धारण किया || १९ - २१ ।। जब भगवान् गर्भ में आये तब दुःषम- सुषम नामक चतुर्थं कालके पचहत्तर वर्ष साढ़े आठ माह बाकी थे ||२२|| आषाढ़ शुक्ला षष्ठीके दिन जब भगवान् महावीर जिनेन्द्रका गर्भावतरण हुआ तब चन्द्रमा उत्तरा फाल्गुनी नक्षत्रपर स्थित था || २३ || जिस प्रकार मेघमाला के भीतर छिपा हुआ सूर्य वर्षाऋतुको सुशोभित करता है उसी प्रकार दिक्कुमारियोंके द्वारा कृतशोभ, देदीप्यमान शरीरकी धारक एवं स्थूल स्तनोंको धारण करनेवाली माता प्रियकारिणीको वह प्रच्छन्नगर्भ सुशोभित करता था ||२४||
तदनन्तर नौ माह आठ दिनके व्यतीत होनेपर जब चन्द्रमा उत्तराफाल्गुनी नक्षत्रपर आया तब भगवान् का जन्म हुआ ||२५|| तत्पश्चात् अन्तिम जिनेन्द्रके माहात्म्यसे जिनके सिंहासन तथा मुकुट हिल उठे थे एवं अवधिज्ञानसे जिन्होंने उनके जन्मका वृत्तान्त जान लिया था ऐसे इन्द्रोंने उन्हें नमस्कार किया || २६ ॥ भवनवासियोंके यहाँ शंख, व्यन्तरोंके यहाँ भेरी, ज्योतिषियोंके यहाँ सिंह और कल्पवासियोंके यहाँ घण्टाका शब्द सुनकर जो शीघ्र ही क्षुभित समुद्रके समान शब्द करने लगे थे, जो सात प्रकारकी सेनाओंके महाभेदोंसे सहित थे, स्त्रियों सहित थे तथा जिन्होंने नाना प्रकार के आभूषण धारण कर रखे थे ऐसे चारों निकायके देव कुण्डपुर नगरमें आ पहुँचे ||२७-२८ ॥ इन्द्र जिनके आगे-आगे चल रहा था ऐसे देवोंने नगरको तीन प्रदक्षिणाएँ देकर चन्द्रमाके समान सुन्दर मुखको धारण करनेवाले जिनेन्द्र देव तथा उनके माता- पिताको नमस्कार किया ||२९|| विनयावनत इन्द्राणीने देवकृत मायासे सोयी हुई माताके समीप विक्रियासे एक दूसरा बालक रख, जिनेन्द्रदेवको उठा इन्द्रके लिए सौंप दिया ||३०|| इन्द्रने उन्हें दोनों हाथोंसे ले चिर काल तक उनकी पूजा की ओर विक्रिया निर्मित हजार नेत्ररूपी कमलवनमें उन्हें अर्चित किया ||३१||
तदनन्तर इन्द्रने भगवान्‌को उस अत्यन्त ऊँचे ऐरावत हाथीपर विराजमान किया जिसका कि शरीर चन्द्रमाके समान उज्ज्वल था, जो सुमेरुके शिखरों के समूहके समान जान पड़ता था और जो नोचेकी ओर मदके निर्झर छोड़ रहा था ||३२|| जिसके गण्डस्थलोंपर मदकी सुगन्धिके कारण भ्रमरोंके समूह मँडरा रहे थे और उनसे जो सुमेरुके उस शिखर समूहके समान जान

Just as the sun hidden within the clouds adorns the rainy season, so too did the hidden womb adorn the mother, Priyakarini, who was adorned by the Dikkumari, radiant in form, with full breasts. ||24||
After nine months and eight days, when the moon was in the Uttara Phalguni constellation, the Lord was born. ||25||
Then, due to the greatness of the last Tirthankara, the thrones and crowns shook, and the lords of the gods, knowing the events, bowed down. ||26||
Hearing the sound of conch shells in the abodes of the gods, drums in the abodes of the Vyantaras, lions in the abodes of the Jyotishis, and bells in the abodes of the Kalpavasis, the gods, who were like the churning ocean, who were accompanied by seven types of armies, who were with their wives, and who were adorned with various ornaments, arrived in the city of Kundapura. ||27-28||
