'दंष्ट्रामाजनमग्रेऽस्य द्विजानासनवर्तिनः । विन्यस्तं तत्प्रभावेण दंष्ट्राः पायसतां ययुः ॥२७॥ ततोऽध्यक्ष नरैराशु रामाय विनिवेदितम् । स जिघांसुस्तमागच्छत्परशुव्यग्रपाणिकः ॥२८॥ भुआनः पायसं पाठयां सभौमो हन्यमानकः । जघानारितयैवाशु चक्रत्वपरिवृत्तया ॥२९॥ तं चतुदंशरत्नानि निधयो नव भेजिरे । द्वात्रिंशच सहस्राणि नृपाश्चक्रिणमष्टमम् ॥३०॥ स्त्रीरत्नलाभतुष्टेन मेघनादोऽपि चक्रिणा । नीतो विद्याधरेशित्वमवधीद्वज्रपाणिकम् ॥३१॥ एकविंशतिवारांश्च चक्रवर्त्यपि रोषणः । चक्रेणाब्राह्मणां क्षोणी शठं प्रतिशठस्ततः ॥३२॥ षष्टिवर्षसहस्राणि जीवित्वा तृप्तिवर्जितः । सुभौमः सार्वभौमोऽन्ते सप्तमी पृथिवीं गतः ॥३३॥ 'संताने मेघनादस्य विद्याबलसमुद्धतः । प्रतिशत्ररभूत्वष्ठस्त्रिखण्डाधिपतिबंलिः ॥३४॥ नन्दश्च पुण्डरीकश्च हलचक्रधरौ ततः । अभूतां निहतस्ताभ्यां बलिभ्यां बलिराहवे ॥३५॥ बलेवंशे समुत्पन्नः सहस्रग्रीवखेचरः । परः पञ्चशतग्रीवो द्विशतग्रीव इत्यतः ॥३६॥ एवमादिष्वतीतेषु खेवरेषु बहुष्वभूत् । विद्युद्वेगः पितास्माकं श्वसुरस्तव यादव ॥३७॥ सोऽन्यदा मुनिमप्राक्षीदवधिज्ञानचक्षुषम् । पतिर्मदनवेगायाः कोऽस्त्वस्या भगवन्निति ॥३८॥ मुनिराह भवत्सुनोर्विद्या साधयतो निशि । चण्डवेगस्य यः स्कन्धे गङ्गास्थस्य पतिष्यति ॥३९॥ तं निश्चिस्य पिता पुत्रं चण्डवेगं न्ययोजयत् । गङ्गायां चण्डवेगायो विद्याराधनकर्मणि ॥४०॥
निकल राजा मेघनादके साथ शत्रुके घर जा पहुंचा और भूखा बन दर्भका आसन ले परशुरामकी दानशालामें भोजनार्थं जा बैठा ।।२६।। ब्राह्मणके अग्रासनपर बैठे हुए कुमार सुभौमके आगे डाढ़ोंका पात्र रखा गया और उसके प्रभावसे समस्त डाढ़ें खीर रूपमें परिणत हो गयों ॥२७|| तदनन्तर अध्यक्षके आदमियोंने शीघ्र ही जाकर परशुरामके लिए इसकी सूचना दी और परशुराम उसे मारनेकी इच्छासे फरसा हाथमें लिये शीघ्र ही वहां आ पहुंचा ।।२८। जिस समय सुभौम थालीमें आनन्दसे खीरका भोजन कर रहा था उसी समय परशुरामने उसे मारना चाहा। परन्तु सुभौमके पुण्य प्रभावसे वह थालो चक्रके रूपमें परिवर्तित हो गयी और उसीसे उसने शीघ्र ही परशुरामको मार डाला ।।२९।। सुभौम अष्टम चक्रवर्तीके रूपमें प्रकट हुआ। चौदह रत्न, नौ निधियां और मुकुटबद्ध बत्तीस हजार राजा उसको सेवा करने लगे ॥३०॥ स्त्रोरत्नके लाभसे सन्तुष्ट हुए चक्रवर्ती सुभौमने मेघनादको विद्याधरोंका राजा बना दिया जिससे शक्तिसम्पन्न हो उसने वज्रपाणिको मार डाला ॥३१॥ तदनन्तर शठके प्रति शठता दिखानेवाले सुभौम चक्रवर्तीमे भी क्रोधयुक्त हो चक्ररत्नसे इक्कीस बार पृथिवीको ब्राह्मण-रहित किया ॥३२॥ चक्रवर्ती सुभौम साठ हजार वर्ष तक जीवित रहा परन्तु तृप्तिको प्राप्त नहीं हुआ इसलिए आयुके अन्तमें मरकर सातवें नरक गया ॥३३।। राजा मेघनादको सन्ततिमें आगे चलकर छठा राजा बलि हुआ। बलि विद्याबलसे उद्दण्ड था, और तीन खण्डका स्वामी प्रतिनारायण था ॥३४|| उसी समय नन्द और पुण्डरीक नामक बलभद्र तथा नारायण विद्यमान थे और अतिशय बलके धारक इन्हीं दोनोंके द्वारा युद्ध में बलि मारा गया ॥३५|| बलिके वंशमें सहस्रगीव, पंचशतग्रीव और द्विशतग्रीवको आदि लेकर जब बहुत-से विद्याधर राजा हो चुके तब हे यादव ! विद्युद्वेग नामका राजा उत्पन्न हुआ। वह विद्युद्वेग हमारा पिता है तथा आपका श्वसुर है ॥३६-३७|| एक दिन राजा विद्युद्वेगने अवधिज्ञानी मुनिराजसे पूछा कि हे भगवन् ! हमारी इस मदनवेगा पुत्रीका पति कौन होगा ? ॥३८॥ मुनिराजने कहा कि रात्रिके समय गंगामें स्थित होकर विदा सिद्ध करनेवाले तुम्हारे चण्डवेग नामक पुत्रके कन्धेपर जो गिरेगा उसीकी यह स्त्री होगी ॥३९।। यह निश्चय करके पिताने अपने चण्डवेग नामक १. दंष्ट्राभोजन म.। २. पात्र्या। ३. तथैवाशु म.। ४. तथा म.। ५. सर्वस्याः भूमेरधिपः सार्वभौमः चक्रवर्ती । ६. सन्तानो म. । ७. हलशक्रधरौ म.।

While the king, Subhauma, was happily enjoying the payasa, Rama tried to kill him. But due to the merit of Subhauma, the vessel transformed into a chakra (discus). With this, he quickly killed Rama. ||29||

Subhauma became the eighth Chakravarti. Fourteen jewels, nine treasures, and thirty-two thousand kings adorned with crowns served him. ||30||

Pleased with the acquisition of the jewel of women, the Chakravarti Subhauma made Megha-nada the king of the Vidyadharas. Empowered by this, he killed Vajra-panika. ||31||

Then, being a cheat against a cheat, the enraged Chakravarti Subhauma, with the chakra jewel, made the earth devoid of Brahmanas twenty-one times. ||32||

Subhauma, the Chakravarti, lived for sixty thousand years but did not attain satisfaction. Therefore, at the end of his life, he died and went to the seventh hell. ||33||

'In the lineage of Megha-nada, Bali, the lord of three parts, became a powerful enemy due to his knowledge and strength. ||34||

Then, Nanda and Pundarika, the holders of the plough and the discus, were present. Bali was killed in battle by these two, who were extremely powerful. ||35||

In the lineage of Bali, there were many Vidyadhara kings, starting with Sahasra-griva, Pancha-shat-griva, and Dwi-shat-griva. O Yadava, Vidyut-vega was born. He is our father and your father-in-law. ||36-37||

Once, King Vidyut-vega asked the sage, who knew the future, "O Bhagavan, who will be the husband of our daughter Madan-vega?" ||38||

The sage said, "Your son, Chanda-vega, will be practicing his knowledge at night, standing in the Ganga. Whoever falls on his shoulder will be the husband of your daughter." ||39||

Knowing this, the father made his son Chanda-vega practice his knowledge in the Ganga. ||40||
