हरिवंशपुराणे एकैकं कृपके रोम राज्ञां दे द्वे सुमेधसाम् । म्यादीनि जडनिस्वानां केशाश्चैवंफलाः स्मृताः ॥६॥ अल्पं दक्षिणतो वक्रं स्थूल ग्रन्थि शुभं शिशोः । शिश्न तद्विपरीतं तु विपरीतफलं मतम् ॥६५॥ म्रियन्ते स्वल्पवृषणा विषमैः स्त्रीबलाश्च तैः । समैभू पाश्चिरायुष्काः प्रलम्बवृषणा नराः ॥६६॥ सशब्द पुत्राः सुखिनो विपरीतास्तु दुःखिनः । द्वयादिप्रदक्षिणावर्त्तधाराः श्रीशास्तु नेतरे ॥६॥ स्थूल स्फिक्च पुमान्निःस्वो मांसलस्फिक सुखी भवेत् 'माण्डकास्फग नरा व्याघ्रादुद्धतस्फिग्मृतिं व्रजेत् ॥६॥ राजा सिंहकटिः प्रोक्को वानरौष्ट्रकटिर्धनी । समोदरः सुखी दु:खी घटोरुपिठरोदरः ॥६९॥ संपूर्णेनिनः पावनिम्नवरभोगिनः । कक्षिमिश्च तथा निम्नर्भोगिनः समकुक्षयः ॥७॥ उन्नतैः कुक्षभिभूपाः कुधना विषमैश्च तैः । सर्पोदरा दरिद्रास्तु भवन्ति बहुभोजनाः ॥७॥ विस्तीर्णोन्नतगम्भीरवृत्तनाभिः सुखी नरः । निम्नाल्पादृश्यनामिस्तु कथितः क्लेशभाजनः ॥७॥ शूलबाधाश्च दारिद्रयं विषमा बलिमध्यमाः। सा वामदक्षिणावर्ता'साध्यां मेधां करोति च ॥७३॥
कुरुते भूति नाभिः पद्म कर्णिकया सभा। आयतोपर्यधःपाइर्वा वित्तगोमच्चिरायुषः ॥४॥ शुभ हैं-अच्छे पुरुष हैं और जिनकी पिण्डलियाँ, घुटने तथा जाँघे सूखी हैं वे निन्दनीय हैं ॥६३|| राजाओंके एक रोम-कूपमें एक रोम होता है, विद्वानोंके एक रोम-कूपमें दो रोम होते हैं और मूखं तथा निर्धन मनुष्योंके एक रोम-कूपमें तोनको आदि लेकर अनेक रोम होते हैं। रोमोंके समान ही केशोंका भी फल समझना चाहिए ॥६४॥ बच्चेका लिंग यदि छोटा, दाहिनी ओर कुछ टेढ़ा और मोटी गाँठसे युक्त है तो शुभ है और इससे विपरीत अशुभ है ॥६५॥ जिन मनुष्योंके वृषण ( अण्डकोष ) अत्यन्त छोटे होते हैं वे शीघ्र मर जाते हैं, जिनके विषम-एक छोटे एक बड़े होते हैं वे स्त्रियोंपर अपना बल रखते हैं-स्त्रियोंको वश करनेवाले होते हैं, जिनके एक बराबर होते हैं वे राजा होते हैं और जिनके नीचेकी ओर लटकते रहते हैं वे दीर्घजीवी होते हैं ॥६६।। पेशाब करते समय जिनका मूत्र शब्दसहित निकलता है वे सुखी होते हैं और जिनका मूत्र शब्दरहित निकलता है वे दुखी होते हैं। पेशाब करते समय जिनके मूत्रकी पहली और दूसरी धारा दाहिनी ओर पड़ती है वे लक्ष्मीके स्वामी होते हैं और जिनकी धारा इसके विपरीत पड़ती है वे निर्धन होते हैं ॥६७।। जिस पुरुषका नितम्ब स्थूल होता है वह दरिद्र होता है, जिसका पुष्ट होता है वह सुखी होता है और जिसका मण्डूकके समान ऊंचा उठा होता है वह व्याघ्रसे मृत्युको प्राप्त होता है ।।६८|| जिसकी कमर सिंहकी कमरके समान पतली होती है वह राजा होता है और जिसकी कमर वानर अथवा ऊंटको कमरके समान होती है वह धनी होता है। जिसका पेट न छोटा न बड़ा किन्तु समान होता है वह सुखी होता है और जिसका पेट घड़ा अथवा मटकाके समान हो वह दुखी होता है ॥६९॥ जिनकी पसलियां भरी हुई हों वे सुखी होते हैं और जिनकी पसलियाँ नोची तथा टेढ़ी हों वे भोगरहित होते हैं। जिनकी कँख नीची हो वे भोगरहित होते हैं, जिनकी कुँख सम हों वे भोगी होते हैं, जिनकी कँख उठी हुई हों वे राजा होते हैं और जिनकी कँख विषम हों वे निर्धन होते हैं। जिसकी उदर सर्पके समान लम्बा हो वे दरिद्र तथा बहुत भोजन करनेवाले होते हैं ।।७०-७१।। जिनको नाभि .चौड़ी, ऊंची, गहरी और गोल होती है वह सुखी होता है और जिसकी नाभि छोटी तथा कछ-कछ दीखनेवाली होती है वह क्लेशका पात्र होता है ॥७२॥ यदि मध्य भागकी रेखाएँ विषम हैं, तो वे शूलकी बाधा तथा दरिद्रताको उत्पन्न करती हैं और वही रेखा यदि बायीं और दाहिनी ओर आवर्ती-भवरोंसे युक्त हैं तो उत्तम बुद्धिको करती हैं ॥७३।। कमलकी कणिकाके समान नाभि मनुष्यको राजा बना देती है और जिसका ऊपर, नीचे तथा आजू-बाजूका भाग विस्तृत हो ऐसी नाभि मनुष्यको धनवान् १. साव्यं म.। २. पाश्र्व म..
