नवमः सर्गः
आरूढः क्षपकश्रेणिं रणक्षोणी क्षणेन सः । महोत्साहगजारूढो मोहराजमपातयत् ॥२०८॥ ज्ञानावरणशत्रं च दशनावरणद्विषम् । अन्तरायरिपुं चैव जघान युगपत् प्रभुः ॥२०॥ चतुर्घातिक्षयाच्चास्य केवल ज्ञानमुद्गतम् । समस्तद्रव्यपर्यायलोकालोकावलोकनम् ॥२१०॥ चतुर्देवनिकायाश्च पूर्ववत् समुपागताः । सेन्द्राः नेमुजिनेन्द्रं तं गायन्तः कर्मणा जयम् ॥२१॥ प्रातिहायस्ततोऽष्टामिजिनेन्द्रस्तत्क्षणोद्भवैः । स चतुस्त्रिंशद्विशेषरशेषैः सहितो बमी ॥२१॥ पुत्र वक्रसमुत्पत्या जिनकेवलजन्मना । दिष्टयाभिवधितो यातो भरतो वन्दितं विभुम् ॥२१३॥ संप्राप्तः कुरुभोजायेश्चतुरङ्गबलावृतः । आर्हन्त्यविभवोपेतमभ्यय॑ प्रणनाम तम् ॥२१४॥ नृपैर्वृषभसेनस्तं बहुभिवृषमं श्रितः । संयमं प्रतिपद्याभूद गणभृत् प्रथमः प्रभोः ॥२१५।। लक्ष्मीमत्यात्मजं राज्ये जयमायोज्य सानुजम् । प्रव्रज्यां प्रतिपन्नौ तौ श्रेयःसोमप्रमौ नृपौ ॥२१६।। ब्राह्मी च सुन्दरी चोभे कुमायौं धैर्यसंगते । प्रव्रज्य बहुनारीमिरार्याणां प्रभुतां गते ॥२१७॥ आर्हन्त्यश्वर्यमालोक्य वृषभस्य जिनस्य यत् । सम्यक्त्वव्रतसंयुतं यथायोगमभूत्तदा ॥२१८॥ इन्द्रनीलनिभान् केशान् पद्मरागमयः करैः । उद्धरन्तः स्वयं रेजुः स्त्रीपुंसोऽरागिणस्ततः ॥२१९॥ तदा प्रव्रजतां तेषां नापेक्षाभून्मनस्विनाम् । केशेष्विव शरीरेषु मस्निग्धधनेष्वपि ॥२२०॥ ततश्चतविधे संघे निकाये च दिवौकसाम् । सरणे समेवाद्ये च जाते द्वादश योजने ॥२२१॥
कर लिया था ॥२०६-२०७।। उन्होंने क्षपक श्रेणिरूपी रणभूमिमें प्रवेश कर महोत्साहरूपी हाथीपर सवार हो क्षणभरमें मोहरूपी राजाको नीचे गिरा दिया ॥२०८॥ और उसके बाद ही एक साथ ज्ञानावरण, दर्शनावरण और अन्तराय इन शत्रुओंको भी नष्ट कर दिया ॥२०९॥ इस तरह चार घातिया कर्मोके क्षयसे उन्हें समस्त द्रव्यपर्याय तथा लोक-अलोकको दिखानेवाला केवलज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ ॥२१०॥ पूर्वकी भाँति इन्द्रों सहित चारों निकायोंके देवोंने आकर जिनेन्द्र देवको नमस्कार किया। उस समय समस्त देव भगवान्ने कर्म शत्रुओंपर जो विजय प्राप्त की थी उसका गुणगान कर रहे थे ॥२११।। तदनन्तर तत्क्षणमें उत्पन्न हुए आठ प्रातिहार्यों और चौंतीस अतिशयोंसे सहित भगवान् अत्यधिक सुशोभित होने लगे ॥२१२।। उसी समय भरतको पुत्रको उत्पत्ति, चक्ररत्नकी प्राप्ति और भगवानको केवलज्ञानका लाभ ये तीन समाचार एक साथ मिले। इस भाग्यवद्धिसे प्रसन्न होता हआ भरत सर्वप्रथम भगवानकी वन्दना करने के लिए चला ॥२१३॥ कुरुवंशी तथा भोजवंशी आदि राजाओंके साथ चतुरंग सेनासे आवृत भरतने जाकर अरहन्त सम्बन्धी विभूतिसे युक्त भगवान्की पूजा कर उन्हें प्रणाम किया ॥२१४॥ उसी समय अनेक राजाओंके साथ राजा वृषभसेन भगवान के पास गया और संयम धारण कर उनका प्रथम गणधर हो गया ॥२१५।। लक्ष्मीमतीके पुत्र जयकुमार तथा उसके छोटे भाईको राज्यकार्यमें नियुक्त कर राजा श्रेयान्स और सोमप्रभने भी दीक्षा धारण कर ली ॥२१६।। धैर्यसे युक्त ब्राह्मी और सुन्दरी नामक दोनों कुमारियाँ अनेक स्त्रियोंके साथ दीक्षा ले आयिकाओंकी स्वामिनी बन गयीं ॥२१७ वृषभ जिनेन्द्रके अर्हन्त सम्बन्धी वैभवको देखकर अन्य लोग भी उस समय यथायोग्य सम्यग्दर्शन तथा श्रावकोंके व्रतसे युक्त हुए थे ।।२१८।। उस समय रागरहित स्त्री-पुरुष, पद्मराग मणियोंके समान अपने लाल-लाल हाथोंसे इन्द्रनील मणिके समान काले-काले केशोंको स्वयं उखाड़ते हुए अत्यन्त सुशोभित हो रहे थे ॥२१९।। उस समय दीक्षा लेनेवाले धैर्यशाली मनुष्योंका जिस प्रकार कोमल, चिकने और सघन बालोंमें स्नेह नहीं था उसी प्रकार अपने शरीरोंमें भी उनका स्नेह नहीं था ॥२२०॥ तदनन्तर बारह योजन विस्तारवाले समवसरणको रचना हुई, उसमें चतुर्विध संघ
