सन् १९६४ में वीरसेवामन्दिर-ट्रस्ट-द्वारा 'समाधिमरणोत्साहदीपक' का प्रकाशन हुआ था और अब प्रस्तुत स्वामी समन्तभद्रकृत देवागम ( आप्तमीमांसा ) का उसके हिन्दी-भाष्यके साथ मुद्रण हो रहा है । यह हिन्दी-भाष्य प्रसिद्ध साहित्य और इतिहासवेत्ता तथा स्वामी समन्तभद्रके अनन्यभक्त एवं उनकी कृतियोंके मर्मज्ञ श्रद्धेय पण्डित जुगलकिशोरजी मुख्तार अधिष्ठाता वीरसेवामन्दिर-ट्रस्टद्वारा रचा गया है । विज्ञ पाठकोंसे यह अविदित नहीं है कि स्वामी समन्तभद्रकी प्रायः सभी उपलब्ध कृतियाँ अत्यन्त गम्भीर, दुरूह और दुरवगाह हैं। एक 'रत्नकरण्डकश्रावकाचार' ही ऐसी कृति है जो अन्य कृतियोंसे अपेक्षाकृत सरल है। पर वह सैद्धान्तिक रचना है और इसलिए उसका सरल होना स्वाभाविक है। धर्मका उपदेश सरल भाषामें होना ही चाहिए। समन्तभद्रकी शेष कृतियोंमें 'स्तुति-विद्या' काव्य-शास्त्रकी उच्च कोटिकी रचना है जो समन्तभद्रके तत्सम्बन्धी वैदुष्यको प्रकट करती है। देवागम, युक्त्यनुशासन और स्वयम्भूस्तोत्र ये तीनों दार्शनिक रचनाएं हैं, जो जैन दर्शनकी अप्रतिनिधि कृतियाँ हैं और जिनसे समग्र जैन वाङमय प्रदीप्त है ।
प्रसन्नताकी बात है कि स्तुति-विद्याको छोड़कर शेष चारों कृतियोंका व्याख्याता होनेका सौभाग्य मुख्तारसाहबको प्राप्त है। उन्होंने इन कृतियोंका वर्षां तक स्वयं अध्ययन, मनन और अनुशीलन किया और तब उनपर व्याख्यान लिखे हैं । यद्यपि उन्होंने इन कृतियोंको गुरुमुखसे पढ़ा नहीं, फिर भी उन्होंने इनके मर्मको जितनी अच्छी तरह समझा तथा अपने भाष्योंमें उसे प्रस्तुत किया उतनी अच्छी तरह गुरु-मुखसे उन्हें पढ़नेवाला भी सम्भवतः नहीं कर सकता। टीकाओं, कोषों और ग्रन्थान्तरोंके आधारसे उन्होंने इन भाष्योंको लिखा है और इसमें उन्हें कठोर परिश्रम करना पड़ा है। फलतः वे इन ग्रन्थोंके तलदृष्टा एवं सफल व्याख्याता सिद्ध हुए हैं ।
