महाप्रत्यायामप्रकीर्णक ( संसारतरन और कर्म निस्तारण उपदेश ) (१३५) (हे समाधिमरण के इच्छुक साधक!) यदि तू संसाररूपी महा
सागर से पार होने की इच्छा करता है तो यह विचार मत कर
कि "मैं चिरकाल तक जीवित रहूँ अथवा शीघ्र ही मर जाऊँ।" (१३६) (हे साधक !) यदि तू समस्त पापकर्मों से छुटकारा पाने की
इच्छा रखता है तो ज्ञान, दर्शन, चारित्र और जिनवचन के प्रति निष्कपट भाव से जागृत रह।
(आराधना के भेद और उसके फल ) (१३७) दर्शन, ज्ञान, चारित्र और तप ( की अपेक्षा से ) आराधना चार
प्रकार की है। वह भी उत्कृष्ट, मध्यम और जघन्य-इस भेद से
तीन प्रकार की होती है। (१३८) चारों आराधना स्कन्धों की उत्कृष्ट साधना करके विज्ञ साधक कर्म
__ रज से विमुक्त हो, उसी भव में मुक्त हो जाता है। (१३९) (जो ) विज्ञ साधक चारों आराधना स्कन्धों की जघन्य साधना
करता है, (वह) सात-आठ भव ग्रहण करके शुद्ध परिणमन कर मुक्त हो जाता है।
(सर्व जीव क्षमापना) (१४०) समस्त प्राणियों के प्रति मेरा समभाव है, किसी से भी मेरा वैर
नहीं है । में समस्त जीवों को क्षमा करता हूँ, समस्त जीव मुझको क्षमा करें।
(धीरमरण प्रशंसा) (१४१) धैर्यवान् के द्वारा भी मरा जाता है और कायर पुरुष के द्वारा भी
अवश्य मरा जाता है। इन दोनों ही मरणों में से धीरतापूर्वक मरना . ( अर्थात् समाधिभाव से मरना ) निश्चय ही उत्तम है।
(प्रत्याख्यान पालन का फल ) (१४२) इस प्रत्याख्यान का सम्यक् प्रकार से पालनकर संयमी साधक या
तो वैमानिक देव होंगे या सिद्ध होंगे।

(Praise of Calm Death) (141) The patient man dies, and the cowardly man also dies. Of these two deaths, dying with patience (i.e., dying with equanimity) is certainly better.
(The Fruit of Following Renunciation) (142) By following this renunciation properly, the restrained seeker will either be a celestial being or a Siddha.
