________________ (82) Note-(1) In the illustrative verse Ap. उप्पत्तिं is not clear. Dhodhakavịttikára construes it = 3969; Pischel considers it = 379721 ( = 'having created'; 'creating'); while Vaidya explains it = उत्पद्य ('having been born' ). None of the interpretations appear very relevant in the context. (2) तुध्र is not encountered in ApabhraiSa literature, though a similar formation, तुडु , has been recorded.1 373. भ्यस्-आम्-प्रत्यययाः युष्मद्-सर्वनाम्नः तुम्हहं (आदेशः )। In Apabhramsa in Abl. pl. and Gen. pl. the pronoun युष्मद् has तुम्हह adesa... तुम्हहं होतउ आगदो । = युष्मभ्यं भवन् आगतः । (= He has come (lit. 'having been') from you.) तुम्हहं केरलं धणु । = युष्माकं सम्बन्धि धनम् । ( = The wealth of yours.) 374. (युष्मद्-सर्वनाम्नः) तुम्हासु (आदेशः) सु-प्रत्यये । In A pabhramsa the pronoun 7 in Loc. pl. has तुम्हासु adesa. युष्मासु स्थितम् । (= Lying within you.) 375. सि-प्रत्यये अस्मद्-सर्वनाम्नः हउं (आदेशः) । In Apabhramśa the pronoun 3 before Nom. sing. has es as its ādeśa. तसु हउ कलिजुगि दुल्लहहो ( Vide : sutra. 338.1) 376. जस-शस-प्रत्यययोः अस्मद्-सर्वनाम्नः ‘अम्हे'-'अम्हई' इति आदेशी (भवतः )। In Apabhramsa in Nom. pl. and Acc. pl. the pronoun अस्मद् has two adesas each - अम्हे and अम्हइं. (1) 'वयं स्तोकाः रिपवः बहवः' - कातराः एवं भणन्ति । मुग्धे निभालय (= विलोकय) गगनतलं कति जनाः ज्योत्स्नां कुर्वन्ति ॥ I H. C. Bhayani, op. cit., p.
