These sutras are of a miscellaneous nature, making it difficult to evaluate the textual variants. By adding the term 'ver' along with each type of sleep in sutra 8.8, a specific meaning of the experience is revealed. Thus, even if this word is removed from the sutra, there is no diminishment in its meaning.
