In the earlier texts, there is no mention of the Kevalin. 40. There is no portion of this text in the discourse that claims to convey the words of the master “Sarasamvatastara.” Not only that, but this subsequent passage is also not found in this Sutra. The statements of the master are always valid. Considering this statement, Akalanka has also refuted the master's interpretations consistent with tradition as per the Sutra. Vidyananda has followed this approach as well. See the Gujarati commentary, p. 377; see Gujarati commentary 60. The complete removal is such that this portion does not appear as a part of this Sutra in either dependent or independent forms. The 40 is distinct in Sutra form. However, the commentator does not consider it to be separate. In the commentary, it is indeed presented as a part of this Sutra.
