The twelve moments of the 'Vedanīya' (the known) are there. ॥ 19 ॥
Eight are the names and the families. ॥ 20 ॥
Regarding the remaining moments. ॥ 21 ॥
The consequence is the experience. ॥ 22 ॥
As per the name. ॥ 23 ॥
Then the 'Nirjarā' (the shedding of karma) follows. ॥ 24 ॥
The names and cognitions are found everywhere, rooted in the specific yogas, existing in the subtle singularity; there are infinite realms in all bodily existence. ॥ 25 ॥
The names and families are auspicious, reflecting truth, right faith, joy, desire, and auspiciousness in the realm of pure knowledge. ॥ 26 ॥
Ninth Chapter
The restraint from influx (of karma) is Samvara. ॥ 1 ॥
It is accomplished through hidden virtues, the observance of Dharma, reflection, facing adversity, the conduct of character. ॥ 2 ॥
Through austerity, 'Nirjarā' occurs. ॥ 3 ॥
Right engagement and control of the self are guarded. ॥ 4 ॥
Proper modes of movement, speech, taking, placement, and relinquishment lead to right conduct. ॥ 5 ॥
