________________ परिशिष्ट-३ आशाप्रेमस्तुतिः अंग्रेजी अनुवाद जी. जी. भागवत A POEM IN PRAISE OF ASHA'S LOVE Having saluted with devotion (Lord) Mahavira and the spiritual teacher as well as (my) mother and father, (this) divine poem in praise of Asha's love is composed (by me) from the viewpoint of 'Tantra'. (1) Having composed a poem full of sentiments with the waves (in the form of words) arisen in (my) delighted heart, oh Asha! I always perform the act of washing your feet with devotion. (2) Oh Asha! I am certainly the meritorious and most fortunate person in the world. Hence my (power of) speech proceeds to praise you who are worthy of propitiation. (3) Oh Asha! Considering your beauty (to be) the wonderful nectar, it is drunk by me with (my) eyes, having received it in a bowl of love. (4) Oh Asha! Having meditated upon you only, with a concentrated mind, one who has conquered one's senses becomes the lord incarnate of the great goddess of learning. There is no doubt in this respect. (5) Oh Asha! Poets, who commenced with ease to praise the wonderful beauty of your body, stood still in absence of any standard of comparison. (6) Oh Asha! Accompanied by various amorous gestures, creation love and desire of sensual enjoyments, I think, you alone take delight in my heart for the satisfaction (of us both). (8) Oh Asha! What is called (perfect) harmony of the feeling of love is the proper union of hearts? There occurs the springing up
