There are also Vegan societies in several countries who also publish guides giving details of vegan food available in major international cities like New York, Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam etc. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is another international organization committed to promote vegetarianism as a part of their overall campaign for the Ethical Treatment to Animals. Among the other organizations promoting vegetarianism is Mumbai based Vegetarian Society (Reverence for Life).
