________________ SALIENT FEATURES OF TEERTH DARSHAN VOLUMES "Teerth Darshan” is a Research and Compilation Project that was undertaken by Shree Mahaveer Jain Kalyan Sangh (Regd.) Chennai during the 25th Nirvana Centenary year of Bhagwan Mahaveer, and its first edition in Hindi & Gujarati were published by them in the year 1981, and now this Trust is entrusted and authorised by the Sangh (Parent Body) to publish the updated and revised new edition of "Teerth Darshan" for the first time in English to cater the International demand, and in commemoration of the 26th Birth Centenary year of Lord Mahaveer. The publication was brought out after a continuous travel of 180 days to all ancient Jain Shrines, collecting original pictures of deities, temple views etc., details of their historical importance, antiquity, about the deities, attraction of the place and further the facilities of Boarding, Lodging, Amenities, Travel Route, details of location, approach, communication address of Management, Phone Nos. etc. which will all be useful. Subsequently, a detailed study and compilation of all data and references consumed a round the clock efforts of more than seven years. It is now printed at the best press using imported Art Paper, Machine Binding with German Hard Board and special fabric gold gilted, so as to produce a real quality publication.
