G. Transportation of animals Old and infirm animals were transported using inhumane methods, without proper shed, food or water.
Violation of Transport of Animal lamendment) rule 2009.46. Rules 47 to 56 shall apply to the transport by rail of cows, bulls, bullocks, buffaloes, yaks and calves. (hereinafter in these rules referred to as cattle).
Often cattle were transported in highly congested vehicles with no space to stand or sit.
