________________ Gandhi has dwelt upon Ahiṁsā at such a length that it requires a separate paper to present it in its various aspects. What Gandhi contributed to the doctrine of means is not the doctrine of Ahimsā as such, but its universal application to every aspect of life, social, political and economic, and so on.
