All these take their birth in 84 lac nucleii ( yonis ) (Bh P. 47) and 1975 x 1011 physique (kulas) by sexual, asexual or spontaneous and special methods. The basic living substance has been defined in Bhavaprābhrita (64) as being tasteless, odourless, soundless, colourless, sexless, invisible and conscious. SS and NS add qualities of touchless and skeltonless to it. It cannot be recognised by any outward sign.
