________________ Rays of Dharma Regard for virtuous can function very subtly. There is the story of Eklavya in Mahäbhärat. He had great regard for the expertise of Dronächärya in archery. When the latter, however, refused to teach him because he was an aborigine, he prepared a statue of Dronächärya and mastered the art of archery in its witness. As a touch of scent spreads its aroma roundabout, so does the contact of virtuous ones fill our mind with noble thoughts. As such, what we speak should be true, nice and beneficial to everyone. 106
