His Holiness Acārya Pujyapāda, who graced this earth around 5th century CE, had crafted some valuable gems of Jaina doctrine, including Sarvārthasiddhi and Iṣṭopadeśa. Concise but deep in import, Iṣṭopadeśa unambiguously establishes the glory of the Self. It is an essential reading for the ascetic.
