________________ KELA) **R Sangh, Sadhus & Sadhvis and also in few Learned men. By which they information and do all the study and in turn help in preservevance of the same. A few persons who help by giving money and publishing the same also search fo the old scriptures and collect them. Despite of 25-50 years we come to see that the books that are not taken out and any attempt has been made to revive or replace or correct them are lying here & there and are getting boosted in the cupboards of the Hall and Rooms of this Library. LIST OF BHANDARS OF HASTLIKHIT SCRIPTURES There has been lot of Institutions, People and Great men in this respect which of great use. By refering to these lists of the Scriptures it was a great desire to make a Master list of all from many years. The work on this was started about 15 years back and there 3035 books written on them with around more than 50,000 scriptures in them. This work to Publish them entrusted to One Mr. Devang. R. shah who made a list of them and was left, It was then given to Bhavesh Maganial Maru & Pradeep Khetshi Sumaria of Thane dist., They then put all the lists in the computer and made the books alphabetical wise. There was also Symbolization of the Bhandar lists. There are many Granths whose name appears and whereas the Bhandars don't therefore if available send the Bhandars list of Hastlikhit Scripts that can be for concluded next time. EXPRESADERS TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN PRINTED & UNPRINTED This effort in this index is made to distinguish between the Printed and nonprinted granth for that reason the year of printing or the printers symbol is given in the column meant for it therefore if the column is empty then there is no evidence of it printed in which year And if somebody has the interest in this and with this effort can make out the easily. Necessity to arrange Alphabetically In this index it is arranged alphabetically and also given the serial number from 1 to 52,000 and above therefore it is easy to identify it either way also. It is also given the starting and ending word of all the pages as in telephone directory on the top left hand cornet so that there can easy search identification of the same and can proceed in the right direction. In this index that is generated in the computer alphabetically if the two words are joined together and typed the alphabetical order changes. therefore when the typing of 'Sh' & 'S' for the word in other language of 'e' or 'a' Makes it go varied up and down in the index despite the name being there due to this reason the Granth though does not appear in tandem with other similar named Granths. Prats to be included from the Gnan Bhandars. This Prat's (Scriptures) are very valuable and in that also if the write and composer are one person only then it is very very much valuable and if this prats are given here and there without any conditional balance it is equivalent of destroying them. Therefore one who seeks the prat should seek Xerox copies as far as possible. Giving of half prat also is not correct policy. If the taker of half portion of prat loses it, then this prat become unusable. The taker of today printed prat takes it and does not return it after verification or Jacation International RR For Private Personal Use Only RAGGR VII G D D C G D D www.jainelibrary.org
