He was the son of Báhada. He was a very learned man and patronised learning and the learned. Ho composed the Sarasvatamandana the Kavyamandana, the Champumandana, the Kadambarimandana, the Chandravijaya, the Alankāramandana, the Sringāramandana, the Sangitamandana, the Upasargamandana and the Kavikalpadrumaskandha.
