________________ OLU - a code of conduct We should take vows and act accordingly. The following vows should be observed Perhaps you cannot observe all these vows, but you have to follow the few rules given below: The vow of Gyan-panchami - one type of austerity • Bow down to your parents every day. Worship God daily. Count Navkarmantra 108 times daily. The vow of Maun-ekadasi" one type of austerity The vow of 'Varshi-tapaalternate fasting for entire year The vow of Navpad Olinine Ayambil in Chaitra and Aso months of Indian Calender Do not steal. Do not smoke. Do not abuse others. Do not tell lies and do not hurt anybody. Do not go to cinemas. Do not watch TV and Videos. Do not eat betel leaves and betel nuts. Do not chew tobacco. Vardhaman Avambiltap one kind of austerity. Avoid the use of powder, cream, nailpolish, lipstick, eyebrow colouring and makeups. You should take vows voluntarily, before the Guru Maharaj to follow the above rules of conduct. Attham-tap, fasting for three days continuously. If one wants to do all the Vratas or anyone of them, one should go to the Guru Maharaj to seek instructions for the Vratas. Then only one should perform them. You are all children now. Some times if unknowingly or by a mistake you break the vows go to the Guru Maharaj and get a pardon and atonement. KARMA SECTION 16
