________________ Pioneer in South India Representing All Jain Sects RESEARCH FOUNDATION FOR JAINOLOGY Research Foundation for Jainology (RFJ) was established in July-1982 with a sole intention of carrying out research in Jainology and opening a Department of Jainology in the University of Madras. This is the only Department of Jainology at the university level in Tamilnadu. It is a matter of pride for all society and boon for Jainology as well as Indology. Various programmes are conducted for spreading the knowledge of Jainism, Prakrit, Sanskrit, culture, history, education etc. through RFJ. Main research unit of RFJ is International Centre for Prakrit Studies & Research (ICPSR). Eminent scholar Dr. Dileep Dhing is Director of ICPSR since April 2013. Writing, editing and research works are going on. Several activities are run by the Foundation, viz. - 1. Maintenance and running JAIN VIDYASHRAM, a Senior Secondary School (CBSE) having nearly 4000 students. 2. To carry out activities for intellectual furtherance of academic interest and provide proper guidance for research students. 3. To bringing out new literature of academic and literary importance. 4. To conduct seminars, lectures on Jainology and to participate in these types of academic programmes. To contribute in the magazines of Jainology & literature. To carry out the work of the Foundation, we request to donate for the furtherance of Jainology. The donation is exempted under 80-G of Income Tax. You can also contribute in form of old manuscripts, research oriented books, scriptures or materials of archaeological importance. Dr. S.
