JAINISM IN 13 CHAPTERS - WHY?
The number 13 has been considered an omen in the western world. Jainism is an religion of Arhats i.e. Tirthankars, whose teachings are incorporated in this book, had super knowledge of the self and the universe. They belong to the 13th category of the ladder which leads to liberation i.e. moksha. This ladder is known by the name Gunsthans. 13th gunsthan is 'Sanyogi Kewli' and is the most auspicious stage of the soul, leading to state of siddhas - perfect salvation i.e. moksha.
