The reign of Somesvara II is referred to. The grant was made by a subordinate chief, whose name possibly Karkarasa. The inscription was found from the Mahadeva temple at the site. The temple was constructed by one Bhogagavunda and grants were made by Ammarasa (Kalachuri king Ammaugideva).
