A mountain city called by the name Mahendra Parbat was the capital of Jayavarman II (802 AD). This city is situated 40 kms north-east of the city of Angkorthom. One question arises about the rulers of Cambodia whether they came to India and settled in India or whether they went from India to Cambodia to do the business.
