Tapas, Saiyam, Kshamapna. Choose EITHER topic 1 OR topic 2. 1. JAIN PRINCIPLES AND THEIR APPLICATION IN MODERN LIFE. Topic 2: Examples of themes vou could write your future essay on are: Temples, Prayer. Pooja. Pratikraman. Pilgrimage to Palitana / Bahubali / Mount Abu, Mahavir - My Friend, Trishala - My Hero, Mahavir Jyanti. 2. MY EXPERIENCE OF JAIN CULTURE. Write an essay on ONE of the above themes or on a theme of your choice, giving us your personal experiences. Rules 1. Entries are restricted to the following age groups: 7 - 12 years; 13. - 18 years. 2. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed will be awarded in each category and wining essays will be published in Jain Spirit. 3. Words to be limited to maximums of 250 for age 7 - 12 years and 500 for age 13 - 18 years. 4. Each essay entry should be TYPED and accompanied with the following details in BLOCK CAPITALS; Full Name; Age; Address; Email; Telephone Number; Essay title. 5. They should be posted to Jain Spirit Essay Competition, Jain Spirit, 14 Cowdray Office Centre, Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, Essex, C011QB Photographs or artwork to accompany the essay are also welcome and restricted to one per application.
