A Buddhist be he of the Southern School or of the Northern School while holding the doctrine of not-killing will not scruple to eat meat when it has been offered to him by a householder. I shall not go further in the comparison of. these two ancient creeds of India, but only wish every success to your noble endeavours in matters Jain.
