TREASURER'S REPORT

It gives me great pleasure to provide you with balances of the JAINA General Fund and various sub-committees. The JAINA Executive Committee, at their Atlanta meeting (March 13-14, 2004), has decided the following:
(1) JAINA will not issue receipts for contributions under $249.00. For contributions under $250.00 the cancelled check is
sufficient as a receipt. This is in accordance with IRS Publication 526 Charitable Contributions. Receipts for contributions under $249.00 will be provided on a request only basis
(2) JAINA will provide receipts for donations of $250.00 and over. Committee Chairs will issue receipts. Carbonless,
triplicate receipt books will be provided to Committee Chairs by the JAINA Treasurer
Committee Chairs will provide quarterly reports to the JAINA Treasurer as to source of funds, use of funds, names of donors and recipients of funds.
