Also on March 8, Dr. Hampa Nagarajaiah, professor of Kannada, Bangalore Univerisity, lectured at the Mahasati Tarabai Swami Endowment Lecture. Dr. Nagarajaiah's topics included: The story of Charudatta in Kannada Jaina literature; and the Influence of Prakrit literature on Kannada literature. Animal Protection Day Recognized March 20 marked the Great American Meatout!!! This day also celebrated St. Patrick's Day and Lent by the Cincinnati Vegetarian Society.
