In the same manner, in Samkha, there might be some matter based on equal number described in Sthānānga' and Samavāyānga. However, there is a possibility that the chapter entitled Samkha was related with Samkhya system of Indian philosophy. Because, the text was very generous in presenting the thoughts of other traditions as well. It is noteworthy that in ancient times Samkhya philosophy belonged to the Śramanic current having proximity to the Jaina philosophy. It seems that chapters like Addāgapasiäim, Bāhupasiaiṁ were not related to occult sciences but they were related to the Rṣis named Adraka and Bahuka engaged in philosophical discussions. The commentators of Addāgapasiņāiṁ have used the term 'Adarśapraśna' as a Sanskrit variant of it, which is not correct. The correct Sanskrit variant for Addāgapasiņāim should be Adrakapraśna. The references of Samavāyānga are later because the description related to occult sciences is vast though the original facts are procured. The Sthānanga mentions about the ten chapters of Praśnavyakaraṇa whereas Samavāyānga informs about its 45 chapters. It gives no information about "Uvama" and Samkha", the preliminary two chapters described in Sthānānga.
