JAINA Convention 2007 Host Committee
Dear friends,
A warm and hearty welcome to the 14th Biennial JAINA Convention 2007! We welcome you to the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, our little Indian city of New Jersey. The JAINA convention is coming back to the east coast after almost eight years and we are very excited to be the hosts.
The convention has been over a year in the making. It is bringing to fruition the hard work and planning of the programming team as well as various other teams who are the backbone of this convention.
Conventions are not easy to do by any stretch of imagination. The site and logistics pose unusual challenges for this convention given the campus like facility structure and the breakout needs of the JAINA convention. A lot of care has been taken and so much attention has been paid behind the careful planning of this mega event.
This is the first JAINA Convention in New Jersey. Looking at the line-up of the scholars we have, the quality of talk sessions and the rich variety of the evening cultural programs, we are confident that history will record this convention as being among the most enjoyable and spiritually lifting conventions. That will surely be our efforts.
