As usual, he gives a simple but apt comparison. If the water in a glass is pure and clear one can see even a small particle of dust at the bottom. So too, if the mind and the spirit are clean and uncontaminated they acquire an intuitive ability.
don A "miracle” of a very different kind is one which was brought about in Bombay very recently mainly through the efforts of Muniji. In this cosmopolitan city there are hundreds of thousands of non-vegetarians and to feed them the abattoirs work to their maximum capacity. In spite of very strong opposition, Muniji won his crusade for stopping the slaughter of animals for eight days in the yeardays such as Lord Mahavir's birth and death anniversaries, Janmasthmi, Buddhajayanti, Ramanavmi, Shivajijayanti and Gandhiji's birth and death anniversaries.
And now we come to this book. Much could be said about it, the aptness of the metaphors, the simplicity of language which cloaks depth of thought and a fineness of feeling. But a good work of art does not need a lengthy explanation or introduction, it is self-explanatory to the man of perception, and so, let Muniji's words speak for themselves. Bombay, 1964
