ends up like this.

Why! Would you accept these gold coins now, or not?
Sir, my hollow
inflexibility destroyed me.

Great sages have said
A man may accept untruth in his state of ignorance. But if he does not accept the truth when revealed, just out of his inflexibility, dogma and conceit, he repents like this in the end.
