In this part is contained elementary information about the Doctrine of Karma in Jainism, which is of supreme importance both to the adherents of Jain tenets and students of religion. In no other system except Jainism, Karma has been taught to be of such concrete, realistic and physical nature determining almost entirely the course of life of the living beings in the universe. Further the Theory of Anekantavada, Naya vada and Syadvada is also introduced to the readers. This is considered the Central Philosophy of Jainism. Minor chapters deal with subjects like Gunasthana.
