________________ 42 at the destruction of the Ghati-karmas Although emancipated-in-body and omniscient, both the ordinary Kevalin and the Tirthankara have a corporeal frame. The Being who is emancipated-in body has no attachment to his body, his body is brilliant like a thousand suns combined and is absolutely stainless; still, there is the body which clings to the emancıpated Being. The day on which this Being destroys the Aghatiya Karmas, this corporeal frame goes off. This dis-embodied state of the Soul is the inexpressible state of its final Emancıpation. At this time, the span of the worldly life of the Soul ends, the body also which changes every moment, goes off too; the distinction of a low or a high family does no longer exist; at the extinction of the Aghatiya Karmas, the Soul is completely free on that high day. This is Disembodied Salvation (Vidēha Mōksha). This disembodied emancıpation is but natural to the Soul and in it lies its highest development and perfection. When the Aghatiya Karmas are destroyed both the Samanya-Kēvalın and the Tirthankara attain the disembodied emancipation. In the world, the Tirthankara is more venerable than the ordinary Kēvalın.
