The merchant had a visitor, a doctor friend named Kharak. When Kharak saw Mahavir he said, Pal! The face of this Shraman is radiant. But a shadow of pain is also evident. It appears that he suffers from some internal agony. LAW If such great man suffers from some inner pain we should immediately provide him treatment. REPOTE HO PRITIES ARRERA They both made necessary arrangements for the operation. They applied medicinal oil and pulled out the nails with pliers. MANN After collecting alms the great ascetic returned. Siddharth and Dr. Kharak followed him to the garden and examined his body. Siddharth! What a painful surprise!
