________________ ATMANUSHASANA. विश्रब्धं हरिणीविलोलनयनरापीयमाना वने धन्यास्ते गमयन्त्यचिन्त्यचरित/राश्चिरं वासरान् ॥ २६० ॥ 280. All praise be to them, who having anyhow attained (union with) the innerself, by the radiance of light produced by the influence of highly advanced austerities, have become peaceful, and are gazed at, by unsteady. eyed and confiding she-deer in the forest. Those courageous (saints) pass their days, for a long time, in inconceive able practices. येषां बुद्धिरलक्ष्यमाणभिदयोराशात्मनोरन्तरं गत्वोचैरविधाय भेदमनयोरारान्न विश्राम्यति । यैरन्तर्विनिवेशितः शमधनैर्वाडं बहियाप्तयः तेषां नोऽत्र पवित्रयन्तु परमाः पादोत्थिताः पांशवः॥ २६१ ॥ 261. Whose intellect does not rest at all till it has clearly discriminated the difference, hardly perceivable, between Desire and Soul, who are rich in tranquility; and who are well fixed in the innerself and the course of whose mind does not run towards external objects-may the supremely (sacred) particles of dust, raised by the feet of such (ascetics) purify us. यत्प्राग्जन्मनि संचितं तनुभृता कर्माशुभं वा शुभं तदेवं तदुदीरणादनुभवन् दुःखं सुखं वागतम् । कुर्याद्यः शुभमेव सोऽप्यभिमतो यस्तूभयोच्छित्तये सर्वारम्भपरिग्रहस्य हि परित्यागी स वन्द्यः सताम् ॥ २६२॥ 262. Fate is the Karma, good or bad, acquired by an embodied being in past life. By their operation, the ensuing pleasure or pain is experienced. He, who performs good deeds only is praise-worthy. But he who for extirpating both (good and bad Karmas) renounces all under. takings, possessions, deserves to be adored by the good. मुखं दुःखं वा स्यादिह विहितकर्मोदयवशात् कुतः प्रीतिस्तापः कुत इति विकल्पाद्यदि भवेत्।Page Navigation
