The Test of Religion Religion cannot be tested by the touch-stone of antiquity or modernity. The importance of religion lies in its power to infuse the spirit of service and dedication in your heart, in your traditions, in your character and conduct, and not in its being old or new. The Aim of Religion What is the aim of religion ? Its aim is to liberate you from your weaknesses, temptation and passions. Finally, it seeks to liberate you from the cycle of birth and death.
