The Kālakācāryakathā with bālāvabodha of Samayasundara dt V.S. 1666 (1610 A.D.) is composed at Viramapuranagara (Viramgam) in the reign of Rahula Tajasi. Krsnadāsa's Karņānanda-kāvya which is Jainetara work dated V.S. 1651 (1595 A.D.) is from Prahlādanapura (Palanpur). There is a copy of Drstāntasataka with tabā. It was composed by Rāmacandra and was copied by himself in V.S. 1763 (1707 A.D.) The Vairāgyasataka with commentary by Mukunda is a copy in Commentator's handwriting (i.e. it is an autograph). It was composed by him with the order of Ācārya Kahānjī and he was disciple of Dīpajī. There is versified Gujarati translation by Megharājamuni, one of the difficult works of the Nyāya. The Nayacakra is to be mentioned because it was copied at Vadodara by Mahānandamuni, the grand desciple of Megharājamuni during the reign of Dāmasimhabhūpa (i.e. Dāmājīrao Gaekwad 1732-1768 A.D.).
There are many manuscripts copied by the same scribe which are important for the history e.g. with the inspiration of Rși Gāngaji of Loñkāgaccha sect, Nārāyana has copied many Mss. of the collection. The data of the colophon gives the history of Loñkāgaccha sect of Jainas, the names of their Acāryas and Rși of last two hundred years and links of the generations of their sect.
The newly added column of the scribe and place of the manuscripts no doubt will throw light on the historical and geographical aspects which will be very helpful to the researchers in these fields. This will be important source for the study of Mss. The Ms. of Kalpasūtra with the Gujarati tabā composed in V.S. 1766 (1710 A.D.) was copied in V.S. 1914 (1858 A.D.) by Mativijaya at gāma sthāņā wherein the information about political situation of Gujarat during that period of British rule is given.
The work of Vyādhinigraha of Visrāma is composed in Kūrmadesa (Kutch) at Arjunapura (Anjar).
It is not possible to give due justice in this brief survey of the collection but here some of them are mentioned by way of illustrations.
It is hoped that this Volume will provide outside scholars with adequate information regarding our manuscripts and will prove to be permanent record
