The monk, who remains devoted to this observance at the time of his death, and who does not get deluded when the death stares him in the face, is said to be a spiritual aspirant.

174-175. Thus, hearing about the practices of the virtues of
humility, masters, disciples, conduct-restraint, scriptural knowledge, the right conduct and voluntary peaceful death, they must be observed accordingly, so that the living beings may be liberated from the misery of living in the wombs, birth and death, rebirth, bad birth, and wandering in the world.
