On the advise of Varahamihir, the king appointed guards all around the delivery-room

Take all care day and night. Stock all food and water. The deliveryroom will remain closed for seven days.
At nightfall Varahamihir was checking each gate by hammering in the middle.
All of a sudden the inner door-bolt of a door broke
and fell on the newborn's head.
Yes! It is strong and perfectly closed.
Oh! What is this?
Then on one of the gates Varahamihir himself stood guard with a drawn sword. Six days passed.
Today is the seventh day. Everyone should be alert. Not even a bird should enter the delivery-room.
The child uttered a weak shriek and died.
Oh! The door-bolt fell on his head.
