This work known as Jalpa-Kalpa-Lata is written by Shriman Ratna mandan of Tapagachha' who was the disciple of Shree Nandiratna, the disciple of Shriman Ratna Shekharsuri.
It embodies the discussions held between Shree Manikya Muni, the disciple of Shree Vadidev suri the learned contemporary of Shree Kalikala Sarvagna Shree Hemchandracharya, and one Shankara Naiyáyika, a native of Benares. They are questions and answers in the form of verse. The subject matter of this volume will be of great help to the students of Grammar, Poetry and Logic, - Vyakarana, Kavya and Nyaya. The highly technical character of the terminology (FHENT) employed in these dialogues has made it impossible for the publishers to give any explanations of their own.
