चार लोकपालों, परिवार सहित पाठ अनमहिषियों (प्रमुख पट्टरानियों), तीन परिषदों (सभाओं), सात सेनाओं, सात सेनाधिपतियों, तीन लाख छत्तीस हजार अंगरक्षक देवों तथा सौधर्मकल्प में रहने वाले और भी अनेक वैमानिक देवों एवं देवियों पर आधिपत्य करता है। वह उन सभी का अग्रेसर, पालक, स्वामी, भर्ती-पोषक और महत्तर-महामान्य है। वह इन सभी देवों को अपने । प्रमुख सेनापतियों द्वारा अपने आदेश प्रदान करने वाला। है। इस प्रकार प्राज्ञा प्रदान करता हुया और अपनी प्रजा का पालन करता हुमा तथा निरन्तर उच्च ध्वनि वाले नाटक, संगीत, मुखरित वीणा, करताल, त्रुटित, मेघ के समान गंभीर रव-शब्द करने वाले मृदंग, उत्तम जाति के पटह-ढोल, इन सभी के मधुर स्वरों को सुनता हुआ और भोगने योग्य दिव्य भोगों का उपभोग करता हुया वह इन्द्र रहता है। १५. वह इन्द्र अपने विपुल अवधिज्ञान से सम्पूर्ण जम्बूद्वीप की अोर पुनः पुनः देखता है। वहां वह श्रमण भगवान महावीर को जम्बूद्वीपस्थ भारतवर्ष के दक्षिणार्ध भरत के माहरणकुण्डग्राम नगर में कोडाल गोत्रीय ऋषभदत्त ब्राह्मण की भार्या जालन्धर गोत्रीया देवानन्दा ब्राह्मणी की कुक्षि में
