242. A monk, who is taking one out of six regular meals, may, on the day he intends to break his fast, make two rounds of house-holders' homes asking for alms.

यदि उतने ही भोजन और पानी से उसका निर्वाह नहीं हो सकता है तो दूसरी बार भी गृहस्थ कुल की पोर भोजन-पानी ग्रहण करने के लिये उसे जाना-पाना कल्पता है। २४२. वर्षावास में रहे हुए छट्ठभक्त करने वाले भिक्षु को गोचरी के समय भोजन लेने के लिये अथवा पानी लेने के लिये ग्रहस्थ कूल की ओर दो बार जाना-पाना कल्पता है। २४३. वर्षावास में रहे हए अष्टमभक्त करने वाले श्रमण को गोचरी के समय भोज्य-पदार्थ लेने के लिये अथवा पानी लेने के लिये गृहस्थ कुल की ओर तीन बार जानापाना कल्पता है। २४४, वर्षावास में रहे हुए विकृष्ट भक्त (अष्टमभक्ततीन उपवास से अधिक तप) करने वाले श्रमण को पाहार अथवा पानी के लिये प्रत्येक समय अर्थात जिस समय इच्छा हो, उसी समय गृहस्थ कुल की ओर जाना
और आना कल्पता है। २४५. वर्षावास में रहे हुए नित्यभोजी साधु को सभी प्रकार का पानी लेना कल्पता है।

244. A monk who may be fasting for a still longer period, may, on the day he intends to break his fast, go whenever he pleases to make a round of the house-holders' homes.
245. Monks, who eat a meal a day during paryuşana, are allowed to take all permitted drinks.
